Pressure Washing in Cheltenham,Gloucester & the Cotswolds —driveways, paths & patios restored.
Years of moss, algae and ingrained dirt lifted in hours, not days. We use industrial rotary surface cleaners that finish evenly with no tiger-stripes, plus the right nozzle and pressure for every surface — so your block paving, stone or concrete looks new without being damaged.

Pressure Washing — done properly, the first time.
A professional pressure wash uses industrial Honda-powered equipment paired with rotary surface cleaners to lift moss, algae, ingrained dirt and organic staining from external hard surfaces. The result is an even, factory-finish clean with no stripes, no surface damage and no residue.
Suited to homeowners and small commercial premises with block paving driveways, natural stone patios, Indian sandstone, porcelain paving, decking, concrete paths, brick walls and rendered surfaces.
Most homes benefit from a clean every 2–3 years. Sooner if the surface is north-facing, under trees, or visibly green when wet. Best window: spring through early autumn, when the surface dries quickly afterwards.
DIY domestic pressure washers strip jointing sand, leave streaks and take an entire weekend to half-finish the front of an average house. Industrial gear with a rotary head finishes the same area in 1–2 hours, evenly, with the joint sand replaced afterwards.
The cost of putting it off.
Hard surfaces around the house quietly degrade. Moss roots into the joints, weeds split the paving apart, algae makes the paths slippery in winter, and oil stains soak in until they're impossible to lift.
Real risks
- Slip hazards on algae-covered paths — a real cause of household injury, especially in autumn rain.
- Frost damage to bedding sand as moss holds moisture against the substrate.
- Permanent staining from oil drips, leaf tannins and rust marks once they pass a few months untreated.
- Block paving heave as weed roots and frost expansion lift individual blocks out of level.
- Reduced property value — surveyors visibly mark down properties with neglected exterior hard standing.
Common mistakes
- Holding a domestic pressure washer 3cm from the surface, leaving permanent tiger-stripes across the driveway.
- Skipping the rejointing sand afterwards, so weeds return within weeks.
- Treating Indian sandstone or porcelain with the same technique as concrete — wrong pressure damages the surface.
- Using bleach on driveways, which kills the algae but discolours the surface and runs into beds.
- Cleaning only the front in view of the road and ignoring the side path that actually causes the slip-hazard.

What you actually get for your money.
Concrete outcomes — not marketing claims. Every benefit below is verified on every job we leave.
Faster, cleaner finish
A rotary surface cleaner is 4–5x faster than a hand-lance and produces a stripe-free finish a domestic machine cannot.
Surface stays cleaner for longer
Industrial pressure plus proper rejointing means moss takes 2–3 years to return, not 6 months.
Safer for the household
Algae-free paths and steps mean fewer slips and falls — especially in winter.
Lifts oil and tannin stains
Hot-wash add-on penetrates and lifts staining that cold wash and DIY cannot.
Protects the substrate
Right pressure for the right surface preserves block, stone and porcelain for years longer.
Adds visible kerb appeal
A clean driveway is the single most-noticed change to the front of a home.
The technical detail behind every pressure washing job.
Pressure washing sounds blunt — it isn't. It's a precise trade. The pressure, the nozzle, the angle, the temperature and the post-clean treatment all change with the surface. Wrong combination and you damage the very thing you wanted to restore.
£2m public liability, full RAMS, certificates on request before any booking is confirmed.
Materials we work on
We clean block paving (Marshalls, Brett, Tobermore), Indian sandstone, natural Cotswold stone, porcelain, concrete slabs, exposed aggregate, stamped concrete, timber decking, brick walls and rendered surfaces. Each has its own correct pressure range — from gentle 800psi on porcelain to 3,000+psi on neglected concrete.
Methods we use
Primary tool is a rotary surface cleaner — a covered disc with twin jets that spin under the housing, producing an even, stripe-free finish. Edges and corners are finished with a hand-lance and the correct fan nozzle. For oil staining and ingrained grease we deploy a hot-water unit. After cleaning, blocks are re-sanded with kiln-dried jointing sand to prevent weed regrowth and block movement.
Variations of the service
Driveway pressure wash, patio clean and reseal, path and step restoration, decking clean, brick wall and render wash, commercial yard cleaning, and graffiti removal. Optional add-ons include resealing block paving with a clear polymer seal, weed-killer treatment and re-sanding.
Situations it applies to
Common bookings: pre-sale presentation cleans, post-build clean-up, annual spring refresh, ahead of summer entertaining, after wedding or party hire, and routine maintenance for letting agents and landlords across Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Residential vs commercial
Residential work is fully insured, beds protected, photos sent. Commercial yards, forecourts, school playgrounds and car parks are scheduled out of hours where needed, with RAMS, traffic management plans and pre/post-clean photo records as standard.
